Ameron Binkley
Born to loving parents, the first couple of years of Ameron's life showed him a world of happiness. The happiness ended quickly, however, as tragedy struck early one winter night, and an accident caused his parents house to burn down. Ameron was only saved because their cat, Corus, dragged him from the blaze.
Without parents, Ameron was taken in by his
uncle and lived with his cousins for several years. Never quite belonging, Ameron wasn't sad to leave when his
uncle got him an apprenticeship with a well-known
lexographer,
Marten.
In his new position, Ameron prospered, showing a stronger talent than had been previously expected. While
Marten was impressed with the boy, he kept his distance, no matter how Ameron tried to bond with the older man.
Ameron met
Elina, a girl a couple years older than the young boy, but fated to be his closest friend. Their friendship started out well, but as they learned about each other, they started to realize they were less compatible than they'd believed. After a large fight with Ameron,
Elina gave up on her school and left, leaving Ameron alone again. When Corus died a while later, Ameron was the loneliest he had ever been.
Elina realized in her time away that their differences weren't as large as she thought, and in one of Ameron's darkest days, she reappeared, rekindling their friendship, and the two of them growing inseparable. When
Elina left to rid the world of
Ision, rather than try to stop her as Ameron may have done previously, he went with her to help.
Ision discovered
Elina's plot and, using
Traumathy, killed her. With the magician weak while he recovered, Ameron had a short window to finish
Elina's work, but opted to spend that time with her instead.
Physical Description
With a preference for thinking over action, it's easy for Ameron to grow complacent in his body. Not overweight, but he could easily approach that level, he has minimal muscles, generally finding ways around manual labor whenever possible.
Mental characteristics
Ameron is skilled in two magical classes: Auxilist and Exerist. The spell Ameron knows best is
Change Emotions, with a specialization for animals. This
spell came to Ameron naturally, with it frequently being used without thought or consideration, just an underlying expectation that animals would act in some way, and him changing their emotions to end up doing so.
Personality Characteristics
His parents leaving him at a young age, and growing up in a family that didn't want him around, Ameron has a deep desire to not be alone and is afraid of being forgotten. He desires a close relationship with someone that cares for him the same way. Ameron has filled a lot of the void created by his loneliness with an affinity for animals, especially his cat Corus. He can happily spending hours talking to any animal that wanders his way, or even sitting quietly in their company, and they often appear to be drawn to him.
Ameron likes animals, and cares little for people or cities. He would rather be in nature alone or with one close friend and starts to feel overwhelmed with too many people around.
