I'm a novice worldbuilder from the UK, interested in creating a more diverse fantasy world than the Forgotten Realms or LOTR-esque European-inspired settings I'm used to seeing. This comes out of my own desire, as a person of colour, to see myself reflected in my favourite genre.

Interests & Hobbies

Outside of reading and writing, I enjoy hiking and cooking healthy and hearty meals. I spend a lot of time listening to podcasts.

Favorite Movies

I tend not to watch many movies - I don't think I have the attention span!

Favorite TV Series

Urban or modern fantasy and sci-fi like The X-Files, Grimm and Once Upon a Time.

Favorite Books

I mostly read a combination of fantasy and crime (both true and fictional). In 2020, I'm challenging myself to only read fiction by writers of colour.

Favorite Writers

Terry Pratchett, Ursula Le Guin, Ben Aaronovitch, Kathy Reichs.

Favorite Games

I mostly play fantasy RPGs, both tabletop and on the computer; my all-time favourite is the Baldur's Gate series. I'm both a player and a DM in regular games of D&D 5e.
