Chef

Although there are specializations of the job, throughout the history of Poneren, the generalist role of "cook" or "chef" was common. A cook is capable of producing a variety of foods. Although they may not be able to produce all types of food, they are capable of producing full meals in various styles. Compared to specialists (e.g., baker, butcher, candy maker), a cook has breadth across styles, but little depth in any.   Common places cooks work include cafes or restaurants and inns.
