Rena is climbing a mountain as she can no longer see a path up. The task has proven more difficult than she anticipated but if those commoners can do it, she believes she should be able to. By the time she reaches the top she is winded, both from exhaustion and not being used to the altitude. She manages to say to herself between breaths “Dam…the air up here…is so thin…how does that oaf Stormgrain do this for fun…Now where is lu….” She looks up in shock. She knew Luna was supposed to be bigger then most but...“By the elements she’s huge! How?!?” She finishes standing. The tales of the queen’s size were no mere exaggeration. There stood a massive giant of a woman easily 70ft tall. She must have been standing in a valley. Probably the only place in the mountains where she could even rest comfortably. Perhaps the elements blessed her to enforce her reign? To Rena’s surprise Luna looked right at her and asked as soft as she could “Aren’t you Rena Palemare? You look like how she was described to me” Rena bows “yes, your highness. I must say you have very good eyesight. I unfortunately come with grievances at our first meeting. This one was too important to send an envoy like I normally do.” Luna asks, “Very well what are they?” Rena says “I have recently learned something you probably don’t know but Knight Commander Haiku is actually a commoner and kicked me out of the Academy. Lady Millia Stormgrain not only supported Haiku but…but grabbed me by my head and threw me into the ocean when I wouldn’t do as a commoner was telling me. I request that Haiku be executed for treason and that Lady Millia be striped of her status as well as reinstate me in the academy. As I’m sure you understa….” Luna’s raises her voice slightly “No.” Rena blinks “What?” “I said no” “WHAT!?!” “I will not execute anyone. Knight Commander Haiku retains her rank. Lady Millia is staying a noble and not only are you still kicked out of the academy I ban you from ever applying again. I don’t want someone like you in the Knights. Now return to Palemare.” Rena shouts up at Luna “You big stupid giant fucking monster! You are dooming us! You should be using the size the elements blessed you with to keep the commoners in their place not let them obtain such pres….” The ground violently shakes toppling Rena as Luna slams her fist down by her. Before Rena could comprehend that however she covers her ears as Luna’s voice blasts her “ENOUGH! I order you to return to your estate and think about your actions Countess. Any further refusal and it will be YOU that is no longer a noble” Rena quickly ran almost falling down the mountain wanting to be as far away from Queen Luna as possible.
Luna sighs once Rena is long gone “Lenny you there?” Lenny makes himself visible again wearing a rather nice suit and top hat leaning on a white cane “My my what a rude one. Of course, your highness.” “I have a request” Lenny takes off his hat and bows “Of course your highness. Simply ask and this jynx shall aid you” “I need you to get to Palemare before Rena. I’m afraid I was a fool to think the rumors about her were lies simply because of how kind her parents were…and take my retainers with you. They should be near that region at the moment.” “Right away my lovely queen” Lenny is then gone leaving Luna to blush.
