Displace     

Type: Hallucinogen

Location: Discovered in Fey forests

Physical Description: The leaves are very distinct in shape as the tips resemble the displacer beast's tendrils jutting out from the center of the connecting stems. These stems lead into one central stalk that protrudes from the ground. Each stalk can have around 20 sets of leaves.

How to use: Eating (fresh is better but can be dried out and consumed later)

Effects: Can cause vivid hallucinations, as well as strong out-of-body experience (it is described as watching a mirror image of yourself and feeling like you are double). Due to seeing double your brain begins to feel that you are stronger and more able as there are now two of you This can cause lack of judgment and attempts at things people would normally see as dangerous as you feel more able.

Origin: Displacer Beasts use this to help teach their young how to displace. It loosens their minds to allow them to learn how to displace themselves easier. This was seen by Satyrs who decided to try it out for themselves and discovered the hallucinogenic properties but also learned it must be taken in small doses.

Long Term Effects: Users who have taken the drug for prolonged periods will become addicted and start to feel uncomfortable without their double.  If the addiction is severe they will struggle to cope with reality and feel lost and weak. This can cause major distress and anger if they are unable to feed their addiction.
